In Japanese “Rei” means, spiritually, guided, and ”ki” means universal life force. So in essence, Reiki is spiritually guided universal life force energy. Reiki is based on symbols. There are hundreds of symbols and each symbol has a specific frequency and intention.
Reiki can be used to assist on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. .. it can even be sent to a past or a future situation! Before a session begins, we discuss what the desired outcome/intention is for the client. The universal life force energy is intelligent and sophisticated, it knows where to go and what to do based on the symbols being used in the session. The Reiki master is merely the conduit for the universal life force energy during Reiki.
Who needs a Reiki session?
Absolutely anyone and everyone can benefit from a Reiki session. As stated, the energy from a session can be sent to an infinite number of situations, anything from setting a foundation to getting a new job; releasing a toxic relationship; to sending forgiveness and balance to a prior destructive event of the past. Many many people just love the peace, grace, and love from our creator during Reiki.
